As you can see in the above picture, it makes mention that Nana Harriet was born into slavery. Therefore, no records of her birth are known. During my research, I have seen her birth year as being said to be anywhere from 1815 (which is the year indicated to be her birthdate, printed on her death certificate), to 1820, 1822, and 1825 (she believed that she was born in 1825). By virtue of another divining mission, just as I did with Nanny Maroon to 'come up' with a birthdate for Nanny, I went through this same process with Harriet Tubman.
The first information that came forward to mind, is that she was a Taurus and an Earth sign. From there, I looked through several bibliographies written on her life story for certain traits and experiences. Ones that would line up with the ways of the Taurus, which I found to be a Fixed Earth sign as well. I saw by way of more reading and searching, that she in fact did exhibit several traits of the Taurus. April 21st is also a cusp date (between Aries and Taurus) and I found her to exhibit traits belonging to Aries as well. I also have known a Taurus for the past twenty years who has similar traits and marks that Nana Harriet had (1.) Both females that are/were around five feet tall, kind of short. (2.) Both strong as bulls (3.) Both with head injuries received in early childhood that left deep permanent scarring. (4) Both childless. Well actually, the female that I am comparing with Harriet had been told that she would probably never be able to have children, but miraculously wound up having three to four children after being told by doctors that she couldn't. Harriet was too frail and never had children, though. (5.) This other Taurus female's name, just so happens to start with an "H" and has Harriet's name within it, but for privacy's sake, I won't say this young lady's name. I found several other interesting connections between these two but for length and time's sake, we'll just go with the above comparisons.
You can do some of your own research by reading Harriet's bibliography and then looking up the traits of both Aries and Taurus for yourself. See how Mrs. Minty (Harriet's nickname) exhibited astrological energies of both signs. Moving along, the birthday came in as April 21, 1815. The same year printed on her death certificate.
As the usual form, we will be looking at the five year long influences of Mrs. Tubman's Birth Card. Let us start with her Long Range Card the Jack of Spades, in the last year of her life according to the birthdate was given: April 21, 1815. This would have made her 97.
Her Long Range Card indicates that there could possibly be some young untrustworthy male who was dishonest and possibly involved in illegal activities that she would need to keep a "close eye on." She had recently moved into the same Harriet Tubman Home for the Elderly that she had built next door to her own home, to care for those who could no longer care for themselves. This had been a long hoped for vision of hers. A labor of love, that had finally come into fruition. She eventually needed this same care for herself, seeing that she had reached her late ninties and herself would have to take advantage of her own facilities.
This being the case, perhaps there was some young male who either worked in the facility or maybe a regular visitor to Mrs.Tubman or some other resident. Perhaps someone under such circumstances, who had the capacity to steal the valuables of the elderly residents in the home. We hear of the same kind of incidents in this time, of those who work in homes of the elderly and indigent either abusing, neglecting or stealing the valuables of the helpless residents of elderly and handicapped peoples facilities. So, it is not beyond reason that this could have been the case for Nana Harriet at that time.
Onto the Pluto Card Nine of Spades. It says that : This year you have one of the most challenging cards..." It says that there maybe losses of many kinds. You may lose your job or have to contend with lingering health problems that force you (Harriet) to change your habits. You could even lose someone you know, and this passing may not be easy for you to cope with. It shouldn't be hard to understand that at ninety seven years of age, there would be many inevitable losses in one's life.
She had slaved under harsh and often brutal conditions, which took a toll on her body and health earlier on in life. She had lived with a traumatic childhood injury to the head that had left her suffering from headaches, seizures, and periods of semi-consciousness, probably Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, which plagued her the rest of her life. This injury had caused her great pain and suffering that drive her to finally have brain surgery in Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital to alleviate pain in her later years. In 1911 (two or less years before she passed on, on March 10, 1913) she was too frail to live alone and moved in next door to the Harriet Tubman Home for the Elderly, as I stated when discussing the Long Range Card.
Also, at this age, she had already outlived two husbands and possibly other friends, relatives and loved ones. It would stand to reason that she may have been dealing with feelings of sadness and loss of those she had known and had special experiences and memories with over the years.
Now, the Result Card Seven of Spades. It says that: As part of this year's major challenge, represented by your (Harriet's) Pluto Card, you will be working with negative patterns in yourself that may have been affecting your health or your ability to work effectively. The negative habit or whatever it was, maybe negative thoughts or emotions may have needed to be adjusted and let go of. Evidently in order to improve her physical health and/or spirituality. Perhaps a lifetime of enforced hard labour had her trying to push herself to a physical standard that she could no longer maintain at the age of ninety seven. A lifetime of slavery, neglect, and abuse understandably, may have left her distrusting of others or embittered in some manner. But, at this point, whatever it was, she was being asked to let go of it, in order to become better.
There's a table in the book that I use to assist me in working the Destiny Card Readings. The table is called The Evolution of the Soul as Seen in the Cards. It shows the suit of Spades as representing the season of winter and its Quality as being the Will (ours versus the Divine) or the Higher Self as opposed to the physical self and/or ego (lower self). It goes on to show this Cycle of Life as representing the Last Years of Life, which this was for Nana Harriet. If you notice, her first three Cards are all Spades, which indicates endings of some sort.
Moving onto the Environment Card the Queen of Clubs, which happens to be one of her Personality Cards as well and the one I used in her reading. This card indicates that Harriet may have accomplished success through service and of sharing knowledge and information with others. If you are a Club female (which she was in the highest degree), you are also likely to have more success this year in the romantic or motherly departments of your life. It stands to reason at this point of her life, having had so much and many different experiences and enlightenment, that she had more than enough knowledge to share with others.
She had been interviewed several times in her later years, in which she had shared her journey and adventures with those who inquired. I don't know how much of a "romantic" life that she may have had at this juncture of her existence (LoL), but I can see her as more of taking on the motherly role at such an advanced age.
Last but not least, the Seven of Hearts Displacement Card. Notice it mentions that this is likely to be a year in which Harriet may face some of her own emotional insecurity and learn to allow others in her life to have more freedom from what could have possibly been her emotional manipulation. The Seven can bring a feeling of freedom from our fears of abandonment and betrayal and a true experience of spiritual and unconditional love.
Remember in her Pluto and Result Cards, it was said that Harriet may have been dealing with "negative patterns" in herself. I surmised that this may have been connected to a harsh life of slavery that consisted of her family being divided and ripped apart over the years. First, her, her siblings, and their mother, were separated from their father and husband through being sold off to another slave owner on another plantation. Then some years later, their family was reduced again through some of the siblings being sold to yet another plantation. Once again, tearing Harriet's family apart, and I am sure, her heart.
When Harriet had gotten her own freedom by escaping from her enslaved, she proceeded to go back and rescue other enslaved Africans, including most of her immediate family members except failing unfortunately in freeing her youngest sister Rachel and Rachel's two children. She attempted for a decade to rescue her sister but was unsuccessful. In December 1860, Tubman arrived in Dorchester Country to retrieve Rachel and her two young children, Ben and Angerine, but only to find that Rachel had passed away. Tubman was unable to find her children.
I can imagine the heartbreak this caused. Also, I would suppose the betrayal of traitors, snitches and lying enslavers that had exposed Harriet and those she loved to dangers, lies and deceptive practices throughout the years would leave anybody with fears of abandonment and betrayal. With this, I conclude the Destiny Card Reading of Mrs. Harriet (Abenaa Araminta) "Minty" Ross Tubman. May she live in power always.❤ 🌹
