I thought that since I am studying the ancient art of using playing cards as an oracle (a means to seeing people beyond the mundane world; spiritual sciences that are used to give one sought after information), that it would be interesting to use a highly known figure as Malcolm X to share with others. Though he has had an astrological chart done on him already (https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Malcolm_X), I don't know of anyone using playing cards, in order to read his destiny, in which the cards can DEFINITELY do. It amazes me as I study these, how interesting and accurate they can be. This art is actually where the science of tarot reading originates from. So, with this being said, let us proceed.... shall we?
I've decided to concentrate on the five cards that will influence a person's entire year as opposed to the fifty two day influences which are pointed out by the planetary periods and their period dates (as seen at the bottom of the example reading). These five being : The Long Range card, the Pluto and Result cards, the the Environment and the Displacement cards. When I read these five cards for Malcolm's birth card, I didn't really need to read anymore. These cards told it all! After I finish presenting my finds to you, you will see what I saw and know why I felt no need to go any further. Although, I suggest that you do read the rest of the Birth Card. As well as doing his Planetary Ruler Card in order to see the other influences that took place in his reading and how they played out in his life. Hopefully, you will be as amazed and in awe as I was when I started reading the cards.
Malcolm X's 39th year of life, which proved to be his last, saw him going through some MAJOR changes at that time. These changes, stemming from prior events that took place in 1962 and 1963, that caused Malcolm X to reassess his relationship with the Nation of Islam, and particularly its leader, Elijah Muhammad.
Between the years of 1961 to 1964, Malcolm went through a time of inner conflict and disillusion. These were connected to events that were happening concerning the Nation of Islam. Such things as the NOI's lack of response to LAPD violence. Also, Elijah Muhammad refusing to approve Malcolm's request to start working with civil rights organizations, local black politicians, and religious groups. As well as Malcolm's disapproval when finding out the man that he had whole heartedly looked up to, E. Muhammad, was found out to be having extramarital affairs with young Nation (NOI) secretaries, which would constitute a serious violation of Nation teachings.
All of this came to a head on March 8,1964 when Malcolm publicly announced his break from the NOI. He felt that the Nation had "gone as far as it can" because of its rigid teachings. From here, we can see where Malcolm's Long Range Card (info in Malcolm's Birth Card picture above and in the picture below this that speaks on the meaning of the A♦), the A♦ took flight.
At this point, this is where the A♦ speaks of Malcolm's "desire for a new job" and the "birth of new values" in his life. It goes on to point out that: "It is as though some new things have come into" his "awareness that" he would "think are important enough to attain" and so on. You can read the rest of the reading for yourself.
As we can see, Malcolm's 9♥ in Pluto predicted that Malcolm's close relationship to Muhammad would come to an end in his 39th year. Anyone that knows how Malcolm felt about Elijah, knows how difficult that ending must have been for him. Elijah was Malcolm's mentor, and in his mind, savior, from a life of crime and destitution. The card even speaks of the " death of someone close to you" (Malcolm). As we know, Malcolm was murdered two months after his resignation from the Nation of Islam.
The 9♥card ACTUALLY predicted Malcolm's death! It says the " death of someone close to you" (Malcolm). No one can be closer to "you" than "you." The card says that "the universe is dictating that the endings must happen. If you change your perspective, you may discover that these endings are really the best thing for all concerned, and that includes you (Malcolm). " The card indicates that these endings were best for all involved, including Malcolm. I would suppose his decisions would effect and influence the world of those of the black race, as we have seen over the years, how many people have changed their lives and perspectives based on Malcolm's transformation and transition. Although Malcolm knew that his life was in danger, by the very people that had once been his comrades at that, HE STILL risked his life to influence his race in a positive way, as well as the world. Listening to his spirit and soul's calling.
As we can see here, Malcolm has the 9♣ as the Result Card. The Result Card, of course, shows us the results of actions taken in the Pluto Card. These two cards are to be read together as cause (Pluto) and effect (Result) of a decision and/or action manifested. This card shows the effect of Malcolm parting ways and severing his relationships with the NOI and Elijah Muhammad. So far, we see a connected thread of events taking place in the 39th year of Malcolm's life unfolding in front of us (accurately, might I add), with the help of the Long Range, Pluto and Result Cards of Destiny. (Also read the picture below for more insight on this trine of events, so far)
After leaving the NOI, Malcolm did a lot of traveling and creating of new relationships and bonds. Though short-lived, proved to be invaluable, which left a positive mark on him and all he touched, in that small period of time. These associations would become an indelible impression in history. It was a year of 'new beginnings' and experiences, for Malcolm. His prior environments and their ramifications, are what led him to seek out new environments. These changes were vital for Malcolm's life progression, here and beyond. As we have seen, they were destined to happen.
Now, we move on to the fifth and final card of the five most influential cards in Bro. Malcolm's yearly spread for 1964. As we can see, the themes for that year are emotional uncertainties, self-exploration, and soul-searching. That year, he made his way to Mecca (read more in picture below). As mentioned in the picture above, the Displacement Card is "one of the most powerful of the year." "In some cases, it is an indicator of life-changing events for the year in question." As mentioned in the picture above, the Displacement Card is "one of the most powerful of the year." "In some cases, it is an indicator of life-changing events for the year in question." Leaving the NOI, going to Mecca, becoming an 'Orthodox Muslim,' etc., were all profound happenings at that moment in time, including in a numerological aspect. In numerology, 9's and 3's indicate completion, and 9's point to endings. Malcolm just so happens to have two 9's in his Birth Card reading in his Pluto and Result placements. Also notice that he has an A♠ in his reading as his Environment Card. The A♠ is one of the traditional DEATH CARDS. Considering that his death that year was a result of those who had been a part of his former "environment," it is uncanny, the power of this ancient predecessor of tarot readings.
In summation, I hope you enjoyed my exploration of Malcolm X, original name Malcolm Little, Muslim name el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, with this fortune telling system based on the use of common playing cards. I hope it astonished you the way it did me. I look forward to doing more readings in the near future on other well known and ourstoric/trustoric Black figures. May Brother Malcolm live in power in the Higher Realms and may his rightful people live in power and prosperity here on earth.
